Dr. Heather Schuerlein is a Board-Certified Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She completed her Doctoral degree at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, New York. She also holds two Master’s degrees, one in Acupuncture and the other in Oriental Medicine (MSAOM) from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. Recently she obtained her fellowship in the Acupuncture Board of TCM reproductive medicine (ABORM, 2023). Her training encompasses Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Tuina (Chinese Medical massage), Qi gong, and Eastern dietary therapy. She also received training in Japanese acupuncture theory and techniques.
Dr. Heather’s well-rounded experience includes but is not limited to providing care for various pain conditions, digestive and respiratory disorders, women’s health, and sports related injury. She has worked in various settings including the Seneca Falls Health Center and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Canandaigua, New York.
Heather is a member of the Phi Chi Omega honor society and studied abroad at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China.
