Emily Givler is a Functional Genomic Nutrition Consultant, researcher, author, and lecturer with a thriving practice alongside her mentor, Bob Miller, at Tree of Life in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. She holds advanced certifications in Nutrition, Herbalism, and Nutrigenomic Analysis from the Holt Institute of Medicine, PanAmerican University of Natural Health, and the Nutrigenomic Research Institute, where she now serves as an advisor and supplement formulator.
In her consulting practice, Emily creates personalized dietary and nutritional protocols tailored to genetic predispositions, environmental and epigenetic influences, and functional lab testing, helping clients optimize their health.
In addition to her clinical work, Emily is the co-founder of Beyond Protocols, where she leads the practitioner mentorship for advanced integration of functional genomics into clinical practice, and provides one-on-one mentoring, guiding colleagues through the complexities of genetic polymorphisms to develop more effective protocols for chronically ill or complex cases.
As a researcher, Emily has collaborated with Drs. Neil Nathan and Beth O’Hara on Precision Mycotoxin Detoxification, a groundbreaking approach that has transformed how practitioners address mold detoxification. She’s continued her work with Dr. Nathan as a contributing author in his 2024 book, The Sensitive Patient’s Healing Guide: Top Experts Offer New Insights for Environmental Toxins, Lyme Disease, and EMFs.
